Cutting optics with fast distance control
Laser cutting is an established process
for economic manufacture of 2-D
sheet cuts or 3-D final cutting of hydro
form components.
With the cutting optics Reis Lasertec
offers you an efficient beam shaping
tool for 2-D and 3-D metal cutting
processes on the thin sheet field.
The cutting optics is equipped with
a high-dynamic drive for adjustment
of the optics by means of a nozzle.
In conjunction with a proven Precitec®-
distance control (measuring range
10 mm) the fast and precise control
of the nozzle and focus distance to
the workpiece is possible, as required
by the cutting process.
The compact and solid design of the
optics offers a high degree of accessibility
to the component. With an axis
traversing range of 12.5 mm all common
path and component tolerances
can be mastered.
The optics was especially designed for
robot cutting applications. The potential
of the optics in particular becomes evident
in conjunction with an integrated
beam control on the Robotics RV16LCO2-
cutting robot or RLP16-CO2-linear
gantry. Combined with Trumpf® TCF-1
2kW CO2-lasers the optics is already in
worldwide use with great success for a
lot of applications.
In principle the cutting optics can be
used with all laser types, especially also
with fiber and disk lasers. Adaptation
to different handling systems is also
possible without an integrated beam
guiding system.
Control of the axis can be quickly realized
without any problems via a simple 24V
I/O-interface.
